The “Fudgy” Banana Bread Brownies

The Banana Bread Brownie (often called “Banana Blondies”) is the perfect middle ground between a fluffy loaf and a dense, fudgy brownie. Unlike traditional banana bread, which is airy and cake-like, these are heavy on the moisture, rich with butter, and have that signature “crackle” top.

The secret is using extra-ripe bananas (the ones that are almost completely black) for the highest sugar content and best texture.

1. The Ingredients
