Crispy Cod Strips with Tartar Dipping Sauce

 

Ingredients

For the Cod
500 g (1 lb) cod fillets, cut into strips
½ cup flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
For the Tartar Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp chopped pickles
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
