  1. Prep the Oven Preheat your oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix the Filling In a medium bowl, beat the 3 eggs with a fork. Add the corn syrupbrown sugarmelted buttervanilla, and salt. Stir it all together until it is smooth and the sugar has mostly dissolved.

  3. Add the Pecans Stir the pecan halves into the mixture.

  4. Fill the Crust Pour the entire mixture into your unbaked pie crust.

    • Tip: If you want it to look fancy, you can pour the liquid in first and then hand-arrange the pecans in circles on top.

  5. Bake Bake at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes.

    • The Test: The edges should be set and the center should have a slight jiggle (like Jell-O). If it sloshes like water, it needs more time.

  6. The Cooling Rule (Essential!) You must let the pie cool completely on a wire rack for at least 4 hours. If you cut it while it’s hot, the filling will run all over the plate. It needs time to “set.”
